X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the story of two mutant half-brothers, James Logan (Hugh Jackman) and Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber). Born two hundred years ago, they suffered childhood trauma and depend on each other, fighting and killing in wars throughout U.S. history. In modern times, a U.S. Colonel, Stryker, recruits them and other mutants as commandos. Logan seeks solace from his dark past and has found love and contentment with Kayla Silverfox (Lynn Collins). Logan’s peaceful existence is shattered when his vicious brother brutally murders Kayla. Logan’s thirst for revenge propels him into the Weapon X program, where he undergoes a painful procedure to bond his bones with adamantium, making him virtually indestructible and more than a match for Victor.
