2020 Academy Award Nominations

Academy Awards, often referred to as Oscars are the highest honors given in film making. On Monday, January 21, 2020, this years Oscar nomination were announced.  The 92nd Oscars presentation will air live on ABC on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 5pm PST (8pm EST) and will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.

Every year the entertainment world and motion picture fans around the world turn their attention to the Academy Awards.  Among the Oscar nominees in 2020, Joker received the most nominations with 11, including nominations in the categories of Best Picture, Actor in a Leading Role and Directing. Other nominees with multiple nominations include The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood with 10 nominations and Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story and Parasite with six.
