Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back follows the Galactic Empire, under the leadership of the villainous Darth Vader (Dave Prowse / James Earl Jones) who is in relentless pursuit of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and the rest of the Rebel Alliance including Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew).
Meanwhile, at a Rebel Base located on the ice planet Hoth, the alliance are being attacked by the Imperial forces and its AT-AT walkers. While Han and Leia escape in the Millennium Falcon, Luke travels to Dagobah in search of Jedi Master Yoda to complete his Jedi training and become a Jedi Knight.
When Vader captures Luke’s friends, Luke must decide whether to complete his training and become a Jedi Knight or to confront Vader and save them. Only with the Jedi master’s help will Luke survive when the dark side of the Force beckons him into the ultimate duel with Darth Vader.
