Michael Caine, born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite, Jr. is a British Film Actor, Television Actor, Producer and Author. Michael Caine served in the British Army and fought in the Korean War and has appeared in more than 130 films in a career spanning 70 years. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 1992 Queen’s Birthday Honours, and in the 2000 Birthday Honours he was knighted as Sir Maurice Micklewhite CBE by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
