Jurassic World has been running with great success for more than a decade in the wake of the disaster that haunted the island twenty-two years ago. Now owned by Simon Masrani (Irrfan Khan), the new theme park and luxury resort is built on the original site of John Hammond’s Jurassic Park. Jurassic World is located in Isla Nublar, Central America, just off the coast of Costa Rica and is visited by thousands of guests each year. Jurassic World is managed by the uptight workaholic Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) who oversees all park operations and reports directly to Masrani.

After ten years of operations and with visitor rates declining, InGen is convinced that introducing a new profit making attraction would help turn the tide and increase visitor enthusiasm and satisfaction. As a result, the InGen scientists have once again broken scientific and ethical convention and genetically engineered a new hybrid ‘attraction’ and name the new breed of dinosaur the Indominus Rex.

When the unmanageable beast breaks loose, Claire must rely on Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), the islands only experienced Velociraptor wrangler, to stop the increasingly bloody nightmare. Owen asks Masrani to implement the override protocol and kill the Indominus, but he believes his security team can contain and capture the animal and salvage their investment. Now, Owen and Claire’s two nephews who were visiting their aunt are trapped in an all-too-familiar and extremely hostile environment, where savage predators rule.

Movie Quotes

“We need more.” – Gray
“More What?” – Claire
“Teeth. We need more teeth!” – Gray
“The wall’s almost 40 feet high. Do you really think she could have climbed out?” – Paddock Supervisor
“It depends.” – Owen
“On what? ” – Paddock Supervisor
“What kind of dinosaur they cooked up in that lab.” – Owen

“You are not in control here!” – Claire

“You are acting like we are engaged in some kind of mad science but we are doing what we have done from the beginning. Nothing in Jurassic World is natural! We have always filled gaps in genomes with the DNA of other animals and if their genetic code was pure many of them would look quite different but you didn’t ask for reality; you asked for more teeth!” – Dr. Henry Wu
