Yes Man is the story of a bank loan officer named Carl Allen (Jim Carrey). Carl has been withdrawn since his divorce from Stephanie (Molly Sims) and has developed a negative outlook on his life, ignoring his friends Pete (Bradley Cooper) and Rooney (Danny Masterson) and avoiding life. In front of the bank during lunch, Nick Lane (John Michael Higgins), an old colleague of Carl’s, spotted him and after talking briefly, insists that Carl should join him at a motivational “Yes!” seminar which encourages its attendants to seize the opportunity to say “Yes!”. Carl attends the seminar and runs into Nick who volunteers Carl as a new attendant to interact with Terrence Bundley (Terence Stamp), an inspirational guru and the man who developed the “Yes!” program which is based on a very simple concept: say ‘YES’ to every opportunity, request, or invitation that presents itself.
