Eagle Eye is the story of Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf), a Stanford University  dropout working at a copy shop who tragically learns his identical twin brother Ethan (also Shia LaBeouf) has been killed. Ethan was a minuteman officer in the U.S. Air Force with expertise in parallel algorithms and quantum electronics.

After Ethan’s funeral, Jerry stops by an ATM and mysteriously has $750,000 in his bank account. Money comes flying out of the machine and he scoops most of it up and takes off. Upon returning home, his whole apartment is full of military weapon crates, ammonium nitrate, forged passports and Department of Defense documents.  Suddenly he receives a call from a mysterious woman (Julianne Moore) who warns him that the FBI is about to arrest him and that he needs to run.

Disbelieving, Jerry is caught by the FBI and interrogated by Supervising Agent Tom Morgan (Billy Bob Thornton). While in custody, Jerry receives another call from the same mystery woman who assists him in escaping from custody and as events escalate he gets paired up with Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) who has also been contacted by the mystery woman. Threatening their families lives along with their own, the mystery woman pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move. Suddenly Jerry and Rachel become the country’s most wanted fugitives and must figure out what is happening to them.

Movie Quotes

“Jerry Shaw, you have been activated. Your compliance is vital.” – A.R.I.A.
“If you’re staring at me, it better be because I’m the goddamn suspect. Because if I don’t get some good leads soon, you’re all gonna be demoted into something that’s gonna require touching shit with your hands.” – Agent Thomas Morgan

“Do you think they could derail a train?” – Rachel Holloman
“They changed every traffic light to get us here. The woman, she called me on a stranger’s cell phone who happened to be sitting next to me – never met the guy in my life. And then they broke me out of maximum security custody in a way I’m not even going to describe to you because it sounds crazy, and then they lift us off the face of the earth and drop us into the this shitpile. She could probably derail a train, she could probably turn a train into a talking duck.” – Jerry Shaw

“Listen, your son is as likely to be a terrorist as my brother.” – Jerry Shaw
