Savages is the story of two California entrepreneurs, Ben (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a peaceful botanist and Chon (Taylor Kitsch), a former Navy SEAL, who run a lucrative business producing and dealing high-quality marijuana. Chon brought back seeds from his tour in Afghanistan and Ben used his specialized knowledge to develop the best marijuana in the country. Ben and Chon are best friends and both share a one-of-a-kind love with the beautiful Ophelia (Blake Lively).
Life in Laguna Beach is idyllic for the trio and their comfortable life changes when the Mexican Baja Cartel demands a partnership with their business. Ben and Chon refuse to deal and Elena (Salma Hayek), the merciless leader of the Mexican Baja Cartel sends her hatchet-man Lado (Benicio Del Toro) in to abduct Ophelia to press the American drug dealers into action to partner up with the cartel. However, Elena underestimates the trio’s unbreakable bond, and with the help of Dennis (John Travolta), a shady DEA agent, Ben, Chon and O got to war to get her back.
