Country Strong is the story of world renowned country music superstar Kelly Canter (Gwyneth Paltrow) and her struggles with alcohol. While in a rehab facility, she takes a romantic interest Beau Hutton (Garrett Hedlund) who is also a talented musician and burgeoning country music singer. As her manager/husband James Canter (Tim McGraw) prepares Kelly for a comeback tour, he gets her released from rehab a month early and starts setting up concert dates.  Kelly wants to include Beau in her lineup while James wants to add Chiles Stanton (Leighton Meester), a new protege he is grooming for stardom to the tour.  As the four of them go on the road, personal demons and romantic entanglements threaten to derail them all.
