We Bought a Zoo is the true story of Benjamin Mee (Matt Damon), a Los Angeles journalist whose wife Katherine (Stephanie Szostak) leaving Benjamin alone to work and raise their to kids, Dylan (Colin Ford) and Rosie (Maggie Elizabeth Jones). Needing a fresh start, Benjamin quits his job and moves his children to an 18-acre property containing the Rosemoor Wildlife Park. Though closed for years, Rosemoor is still home to many animals, cared for by Kelly Foster (Scarlett Johansson) and her small staff. Mee opens his heart and his checkbook as he, Kelly and the others work to renovate and reopen the zoo.
