Quick Change is the story of three thieves, Grimm (Bill Murray), his girlfriend Phyllis (Geena Davis) and best friend Loomis (Randy Quaid) who successfully rob a New York City bank, but making the escape from the city proves to be difficult. Grimm is a burnt-out New Yorker who devised an ingenious plan to escape the city he hates so much and dresses as a clown and enters the bank and announces it is a robbery and then cleverly escape disguised as a hostage along with his two accomplices. However, robbing the bank was comparatively straight forward and easy but the getaway turns into a nightmare as they get tangled in an ordeal of obstructions. All the while, Chief of Police Rotzinger (Jason Robards) is doggedly on their tail.
