I Spy is the story of Alex Scott (Owen Wilson), one of the United States’ top spies. When the Switchblade, the most sophisticated prototype stealth fighters ever created, is stolen from the U.S. government. The government believes that Arnold Gundars (Malcolm McDowell), one of the most successful arms dealers in the world is behind the theft and has plans to sell it to the highest bidder.
Alex is called into action and his assignment: recover the stolen jet which is believed to be hidden in Budapest. Unbeknownst to Alex, he is getting teamed up with a cocky civilian, World Class Boxing Champion, Kelly Robinson (Eddie Murphy) who is scheduled to fight in Budapest and will be part of the cover story to gain access. where Gundars is believed to be holding the jet. His superiors convince him it is the best way for them to get close to Gundars. While the operation seems to go well, Kelly’s cockiness gets them into trouble.
