King of New York is the story of Frank White (Christopher Walken), a psychotic drug kingpin who after completing a lengthy prison sentence, returns to New York intent on re-establishing his empire and making things as they were before he went to prison. Others have taken over the business during his absense but that is not going to stop Frank. While he is gunning down the opposition, he decides he is going to give away the money he will make to modernize the hospital in his old neighborhood. Drug dealers are not the only thing he has to worry about however as a group of rogue cops decide they are going to take him down. The streets are tougher than when he left and that there is no way of washing the blood from his dirty money.
