Get Out is the story of budding love with Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend Rose (Allison Williams) who have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating. Rose invites Chris for a weekend getaway upstate to meet her parents, Missy (Catherine Keener) and Dean (Bradley Whitford). On their way upstate Rose hits a deer with her car which shakes them both up and when they arrive, Chris is smothered with attention as they try to get to know their daughter’s boyfriend. Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead Chris to a truth that he never could have imagined..
