Gone in 60 Seconds is a 2000 American action heist directed by Dominic Sena and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Mike Stenson. The screenplay was written by Scott Rosenberg and the film is based on the 1974 film of the same name which was written, directed and produced by H.B. “Toby” Halicki.

Gone in 60 Seconds is the story of Randall “Memphis” Raines (Nicholas Cage) who in order to save his brother Kip (Giovanni Ribisi), is forced to steal 50 luxury vehicles by dangerous crime lord Raymond Calitri (Christopher Eccleston). Memphis was once the most successful car thief in California and in order to complete the almost impossible mission, he must reassemble his old gang. Time is ticking and they have to complete the task in one night.
